To work out your racing age, add your age and your collective crew's age then divide by the number of people in the boat.
Below are the ages for masters. (To make it clear, if a rower turns 50 at anytime in a calendar year, they are in the 50 age group for masters. The year they turn 55 they are no longer D but are E instead. If a double has a rower aged 50 and they are rowing with a person who is 49, they become a C crew as their average age is 49.5.)
